Over the past three years, I have been on an exciting journey to become the next State Representative for the 134th Legislative District. In 2010, I ran against a deeply entrenched Republican, and earned more than 8,000 votes, but could not overcome the advantages of incumbency. Over that period, I knocked on nearly 10,000 doors and had a great time learning about the things that matter in our community. One thing became very clear to me! People want better from their government and better from their elected officials. We need real reform in Harrisburg, the kind of reform that only happens when new people and ideas are brought into play!
 
It’s time to elect a representative with real world experience who is willing to make the difficult decisions that will move Pennsylvania forward, not play the same old political games that have left so many of us struggling to keep our heads above water.
 
We have many challenges ahead of us and now is the time for common sense and the needs of Pennsylvanians to come before party politics and petty bickering. This April, voters will have the opportunity in a Special Election to choose their new State Representative.
