For me, coaching baseball and basketball at LMYA is about much more than athletics.  Sports competition teaches kids about the importance of following rules, being part of a team, having fun and working hard to achieve a goal.  Our kids had a great time and are well on their way to becoming productive members of our community.  While it is exciting to think about all of the athletic success that they might have as they grow up, their victories as good students, sons/daughters, husbands/wives and parents will be the true measure of our collective efforts to shape their character.
